It was June 08, 2012 when my husband and I tied the knot for the lifetime commitment of matrimony. Our lives have been a lot different from then. From the simplest things to the more complex ones such as decision making, budgeting and lifelong plans for our family. The first year was the hardest, and the most challenging. Maybe because all the adjustments were needed during that time. But all the tough times and dark days was worth it. It felt like we were dating again, plus a very makulit na baby boy with us. It has been a roller coaster ride, and i tell you, marriage is not a joke. It takes a lot of love and sacrifice. But for us, the ride was a lot of fun.
We had a civil wedding. Only our families and few close relatives were there. But we are planning to have our church wedding soon. But we have to prepare for it. I can remember that time we were thinking of a theme for our wedding and my husband thought of oreos and milk. Haha! Better together. Perfect! We are really better together.
Cute, right? 😊
Forever. Even beyond.
Last year, we celebrated our anniversary at Caleruega Tagaytay. But this year, we have to celebrate it in advance because both of us have prior commitments (really urgent ones) so we decided to celebrate it a week before the date. Just a simple but very happy day for us.
We had lunch at Yabu Alabang Town Center.
Yum yum sulit lunch!
My baby super excited to eat!
Husband making his tonkatsu sauce.
The usual. Ripe mango and watermelon shakes.
Menchi Katsu Set for me
Chicken Katsu for husband
We were super full when we went out Yabu. The food was yummy and sulit. Then we strolled inside the mall. Rode the timezone train because zachy wanted to. It was tiring because Zachy fell asleep so we dont have a choice but to carry him around. He’s 16.4 kilos now, carrying him while walking is not a joke. So we decided to spend quality time at Starbucks instead.
Here are some of the snapshots during our stroll:

My boys. My greatest treasures
We headed home right away to rest and to have quiet quality time. I didnt know what i did to deserve this happiness in my life. I am blessed to have a husband who is not perfect, but is content to what i am. I look forward to spending forever with him and i love him so much. It is quite true that when you are truly happy, you wont see the negative people and things around you 🙂
