AQUARIA : The Next Big Thing

It took me two days to search for the perfect place to celebrate my husband’s pre birthday trip. I have to consider the proximity of the place, because we only have limited time. Budget is also a factor. And having a kid is the number one priority when planning trips. I came across a landco advertisment, accidentally pressed the button and aquaria came out. Landco developed this resort as part of the homeowners’ perks, but then opened it to the public on 2013. Yes, it’s new. And yes, i know that it will be the next big thing.

The quirky font makes it interesting to both adults and kids. It will surely catch your attention and will force you to take a snapshot. And so we did.

The guards are very friendly. They can take your snapshots with a smile. Hihi.

image

Colorful decors will welcome you, perfect for your summer vibe, which will tickle your excitement even more.

image

They have this huge welcoming lobby perfect for large groups.

image

Here’s where you pay and do all the transactions.

Entrance fees:

Adults – 400 php

Kids below 4ft – 200 php

Kids above 4ft – 400 php

Babies 0-12 months are free

They do not accomodate over night stays, simply because they dont have rooms or villas. Day trip tours are only allowed. They are open from 8am to 6pm everyday.

As soon as you accomplish all the necessary transactions, they will put on bands.

image

Here’s my baby rockin that band! Hihi

And because they dont have rooms, you can opt for a locker or a cabana. The locker costs 150 php. And cabanas for 10-12 pax cost 1000 php. For bigger ones that can accomodate more than 20 pax, they cost 1500 php. But what we did was we parked
our car near the entrance, so we can get our stuff easily. And we rented a locker for valuables.

The locker room is very spacious, clean and cold. The staff are perky, yeah perky. Haha!

As you make your way inside the resort, this colorful kiddie pool will greet you and im sure you can never resist its invite to dig in. The kiddie pool is very well maintained, you will never see its water chage color even at its closing time. You can never see a piece of liter around the pools. The guards are very strict to the rules. You cant eat at the poolside. There is a place deignated for eating. And when you go to a restricted area around the vicinity, you will hear an alarm. No wonder why the place is so tidy.

There goes my boys enjoying the kiddie pool.

Here’s the wide walk way with colorful flags going to the other pools and to the beach.

image

That’s the monster slide where you will fall into 6ft of water. We werent abke to try this one because nobody will look after our son if we do, hehe. Next time, i guess.

image

The pools were connected by bridges.

Those were snapshots from the pool behind the monster slide. There is a shaded area where you can rest and give the sun’s scorching heat a time out.

image

These pretty yellow umbrellas surrounds the whole resort. You can rest, relax and sunbathe in them for free. Yes, for free.

image

Those were the cabanas for rent. Yes, they are just beside the pool. The management were really able to maximize space.

image

Now let’s hit the beach!

image

image

The beach was nice, but kinda dirty. Or is it just because there’s a company outing happening kaya madaming tao.

image

I took a dip. It was refreshing, until i saw a group of jellyfish. Scary!!!!!

Let me share our beach snapshots:

I wasn’t able to take photos of the shower room. Pero i can tell you that it is the most spacious that you’ll see among all other resorts. Very clean. There’s even a bench inside each shower. Easy to move, easy to dress up.

Here are some things you need to know more about aquaria:

You can bring foods, any kind. Tipid, right?

They are very strict with the swimming attire.

for those who will not be able to bring foods, they have their own restaurant. You can check their menu:
